"brilliant location" Having read the reviews on this hotel we booked 1 night at the start of our 1 week holiday on the Canal du Midi. We were not disappointed. The location of this hotel is the best in the port. The views from some of the rooms are fantastic. We had a large room(401) with a good size bathroom. Being a busy port in a city you should expect a lot of traffic noise. This apart there is an abundance of good restruants within 2 minutes walking distance. The staff are very helpful. Nothing was too much bother. We enjoyed it all so much we checked in on the return leg of the journey.

"Loved the place!" Going to Marseille with some trepidation having read the reviews, I found the transport excellent, food great, and the hotel very friendly, clean, amenities very good. The whole port I found to be buzzing and friendly - dont believe the negative hype - Marseille is lovely and the people very friendly, much more so than Paris. The hotel bent over backwards to provide a good service and I would recommend it to anyone. Great rooms at a great price, and the location is perfect - close enough, but just far enough away from the port hub-bub. Recommended.
